David has distinguished himself as one of the few fitness and nutrition specialists who practises what he preaches. Leading by example, his infectious enthusiasm and passion for fitness is rivalled by none.
He believes that the benefits of being fit and healthy extend far beyond the confines of a gym or a training session, but branch out to improve every aspect of a person’s life. This belief has grown from the years of experience working with a broad range of people from many walks of life, including parents, young athletes, grandparents, those with serious or debilitating medical conditions, as well as individuals serious about fitness looking to shred body fat, build muscle or gain strength.
David has worked within the fitness industry from an early age, as it was clear from the very beginning that this was his dream. Throughout this time David has built an extensive knowledge of all things health and fitness, pursuing advanced qualifications from the likes of world renowned coach and health expert Charles Poliquin and ex-international athlete Derek Woodske. He dedicates his free time to study, read, learn and apply this knowledge from a multitude of subjects ranging from nutrition, fat loss, health and mobility to name a just a few. This extensive, on-going knowledge acquisition ensures that no stone is left unturned in the quest for results for his clients.
David believes that personal training and sports coaching should be a hands-on and enjoyable experience and co-founded Elitas fitness with the intention of offering people the very best fitness has to offer. This allows him to offer superior, results-oriented training and nutrition to the individual, a far cry from a regular gym where each person is a number on a client database and not a real individual with personal goals and desires.
